My more wished to be visited are Vogelpark Walsrode, Berlin Tierpark, and outside Europe the Jurong Bird Park, San Diego zoo and New York Bronx. The LAE in Indonesia that have the biggest collection of birds of paradise and also rare native birds (cuckoos, kingfishers...) Into my own country, the more wished are Terra Natura (Benidorm) that haves whistling heron, boat-billed heron, some rare cracids as the nocturnal curassow, some rare starlings and jays.... Also I wish to visit the Santillana del Mar zoo that haves a very huge collection of rare waterfowl as well as some interesting small passerines. The Jerez zoo also is interesting with some rare native birds such as Osprey or Bonelli's Eagle. For last some small very local zoos in exotic countries, that can have very rare native birds that can't be found in any other zoo. For example the Antananarivo zoo hold the cirytically endangered Madagascar fish eagle (Haliaeetus vocifer) and the Mount Bruce refuge in NZ holds Takahe and in the past it had Kakapo.

I've visited almost all the zoos in Britain, but I'm rather embarrassed to say I still haven't made it up to the Highland Wildlife Park or to Blair Drummond Safari Park, both of which lie too far north for me to get to at the moment as I find it very hard to get away. Manor House Wildlife Park is another I haven't yet been to.
I would love to go to the Highland Wildlife Park too but living in London and not being a driver, i think it is easier to get to most of the urban zoos in continental Europe than it is to visit the Highland Wildlife Park.
