A pair of Owston's palm civet have arrived at the zoo from Newquay. A SOUTH Devon zoo has welcomed a pair of new arrivals to its growing brood of animals.</B>
Shaldon's resident 4.0 Red Ruffed Lemurs are due to transfer to Avifauna shortly. They will be replaced by 2.0 unrelated males who came from Koln this week and some new females who will arrive once the current males have left..

Do you know where the Margays came from ? There can`t be that many in the UK ? Also Javan Mouse Deer - same question ?
Margay and Javan mouse deer Hi there - The pair of Margay were both from Artis Zoo in the Netherlands (Male born at Port Lympne, female at Artis) and the female Mouse deer came from Newquay, the male from Paignton.
Many thanks for that information. As you probably know, Shaldon have got a very good history of breeding Mouse Deer.
