Are there any wild dromedary herds left in the Middle East, or are all camels now domesticated? I've read that there are large herds of "wild" (i.e., formerly domesticated, now feral) camels in Australia.

There are no true wild dromedaries left. In fact it may have been this way for quite a long time. We don't even know what the wild form was like.
