Asian Short-clawed Otter enclosure at Mulhouse 29/08/09

Incredibly this was originally built for Emperor Penguins, with the glass case designed to keep temperatures suitably low. \'Thankfully\' (in the words of the current director) they never arrived!

This will be part of the site of the zoo\'s new Polar Bear enclosure in the coming years.

I can't get a very good idea of size here... Was it large enough for the otters?
In any case, it looks... Mediocre, in my opinion.
