Black panther exhibit - Zoo de la Flèche

This is the big new of 2006 in the Zoo de la flèche (An attractive-commercial French park). Situated at the heart of the Tropical Zone, the black panther exhibit can be seen from 4 glass-fronted observatories. It is very long (Maybe 0,5 acre) and is enhanced with lots of tropicals trees, large rocks, and a splendid waterfall with pool. The pair of felines is the most often invisible. Near this enclosure, are also exhibits for ocelots and squirrels monkeys.

Where in France is this zoo? It looks like one of the best in Europe.

The Zoo de la Flèche is situated near the city of Le Mans, at the West of the country.
It maybe looks like one of the best zoos of Europe, but it isn't. There are lots of olds enclosures (Chimpanzeees, giraffes, otters...) and certainly of the news (Like Yukon Valley, for bear) have lot (Too !) of wires, who very limited the space for the animals. It is invisible for visitors, but too bad for animals = Only easthethic, and too commercial (White lions, black panthers...But where are the asiatics lions or the Sri-Lanka panthers ?).

But it's right for an informal visitor, this zoo looks perfect.
If you want I'll continuert to post pictures of the Zoo! ;-)
