      Which year?
I guess zebras are not hard keeping/breeding animals, so what happened? Small numbers? No possibility to bring new ones (inbreeeding problems)?

She lived in Berlin until she died in the 1920´s and bred with ponies, donkeys and horses lots of hybrids...

The cape mountain zebra was already very endangered at this time, that´s the reason, why these species never established in Zoos (except of Berlin, they had been kept in the old Hamburg Zoo, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Vienna, etc.)

Cape Mountain zebras have bred sucessfully several times at Amsterdam and Paris.
