      how good was this exhibit?

It is an average exhibit, with the basic mock-rock background and probably barely any substrate. The two bears were quite dark grey in colour, and the pool was a decent size. I believe that the exhibit is 20 years old this year, and all the best North American polar bear enclosures have been built in the past 12 years: Detroit, San Diego, Memphis and Toledo.
