      Gah! How frustrating! (and surely that means going miles round?)

      Basically the walking route is one big loop (with only two 'side passages' down the bachelor gorilla paddock and the carnivore enclosures near the entrance), so yeah, somewhat ironically.

      Are there many of these signs dotted around the Park now?:(

      What I don't understand is why some of the former paths e.g.the Bachelor Gorilla Pavilion path, have been closed off. Is it no longer possible to see some other animals in the pedestrian area too?

      It would be interesting to see on a map which paths are no longer accessible.

      I think their problem is its now neither one thing or the other- its not a real 'Safari Park' but its no longer a traditional pedestrianised wildlife park either.

      You can download a map from their site which shows the paths you now can and can't take. I just don't get why they couldn't have created the new truck route but still leave all the paths (and house) open...
