      The mushroom tree/rope bridge combo is eccentric to say the least, but it looks pretty good for the chimps.

      I don't see them as eccentric.

      However "mushroom" shelters are common for all sorts of species in southeast Asian zoos - the sun is extremely hot and it also rains a lot.
