Dyreparken NBV - Donkey/duck exhibit

The donkey exhibits seen here - Dyreparken NBV - Donkey exhibits | ZooChat - received a minor revamp during the summer. The two exhibits have been combined into one big exhibit, some new grass has been planted, and in the middle of the exhibit (by the rock formation) a goldfish pond has been constructed. Indian runner ducks now share the exhibit with the donkeys, and so does a single pygmy goat which didn't get along with the other goats.

Dyreparken NBV is a tiny zoo in the town of Hjørring, Denmark. Other than a zoo, it's a workplace for mentally handicapped people, belonging to the titular NBV ("Nordjyllands Beskyttede Værksted", "Northern Jutland's Sheltered Workshop") which organizes work for disabled people. Other than the handicapped workers, the zoo also employs one trained zookeeper.

Area-wise, it's - as mentioned - probably one of the tiniest zoos in the world, not much larger than your average backyard, and as such it only keeps around 25 species of animals, the majority of these species being small mammals and small birds. Most of the animals are housed in fine living conditions.

The zoo has free entry and is always open, though to access the indoor exhibits you need to visit when the employees are at work which is during standard work hours from Monday to Friday.
