Indeed... One could see the difference of the thickness between the body and the tail portion, wich alone already looks fat.

@David Matos Mendes Yeah, and judging by the number of rings, it's a younger snake, too Diamondbacks can get fairly thick when fully grown but nothing like this.

Well observed... The distance between a scale and another also shows there is something wrong regarding the body proportions of this individual. Surely being overfed.
