Emmen Zoo

Emmen has a herd of 15 elephants. One big bull (Radza), 5 younger bulls, and 9 females. In 15 years time 17 elephants were born here! Only two of them died.

      The municipality of emmen consists out of 100.000 people, emmen itself has 57.000 inhabitants;) But, with that number it has managed to be the second largest city in the northern part of the netherlands ( quite an achievement in a rural area).
