Enrichment, August 2015
A Maltesers box in Monkey Heights. I am reluctant to upload a photo of this quality on a gallery graced by gentle lemur's masterpieces. However, its purpose is to show how difficult it is to avoid palm oil, even for a zoo that actively campaigns against it. I believe one of the orangs was recently playing with an empty Flora tub, another product containing palm oil. Of course, the companies concerned may be using palm oil from certified sustainable sources.
