The fossa is positioned about half way back in the enclosure, which is situated in a forest on a steep hill. I am photographing through a glass window. The enclosure is a large aviary that encompassed a number of fully grown trees.
Thx for the pics MRJ, After seeing Fossa for the first time at Cleveland Zoo in a appalling, small and all indoor enclosure, and then again at Bronx again small and all indoor and then at San Diego in a small sterile concrete and wire mesh exhibit, I was beginning to wonder if Fossa were hard to exhibit! Your description of a large aviary style with full grown trees sounds great, actually in comparison utopia.
