      Looks like a sci fi movie set. This must be the most bizarre aquarium setting in the world.

      Very unusual, but surprisingly pleasant. Much busier than I had expected, it turned out that this is a a romantic destination for Cairo's young couples. I think my grandma and I were the only pair who weren't holding hands. :p

      Although there's not anything particularly interesting in the collection of freshwater fish, the roosting fruit bats overhead add to the unique ambience of this place. I'm glad I visited this time round. :)
