Historical Bear Castle
This was the old Bear castle,which was to the new Okapi exhibit. On the picture, a big arrow with the writing"Okapi" can be seen. The bear castle was destroyed in 1958. It's pure irony, the zoo wanted to do that before the second world war and this bear castle was the only building in the zoo, which was not destroyed in the war...
