      Actually, according to (Groves & Grubb 2011), this taxon is still considered a subspecies of Gazelle dorcas. Only ssp. pelzelnii was split off and elevated to full species level.

      @UngulateNerd92 Splitting of pelzelnii would leave Dorcas gazelle paraphyletic, so that is no valid option. Genetic research does not support splitting Dorcas gazelle and even does not indicate subspecies...

      @lintworm ah ok thank you for letting me know. I have to say, I didn't realize that Gazella dorcas could be considered monotypic.
