Kaka Feeding - Mount Bruce February 2013

Mount Bruce National Wildlife Centre February 2013 At 3pm every day, North Island Kaka from the wild population of 170 birds reintroduced into the local forest come here to feed. Corn, nuts and seeds were put into the feeders, as well as a nectar mixture, which the parrots can drink through the metal straws.
