It's a shame they're not living together at the moment, although I've been told they will when Kluet's a bit bigger. He's 14 now, so he could have a growth spurt anytime really

Is that because she bullies him? Unfortunately when that happens it often continues throughout their life, though they can still breed.

Hopefully Puspa can help Kluet and Karta essentially have a more intimate relationship

They are together now and are gradually being introduced to a new female from Perth.

Karta being the longest established may well continue to dominate both the others, even when Kluet is a fully mature male. However, with Orangutans that's usually no impediment to breeding though.

I would not be surprised if that was the case, Karta does have a very strong personality
