Kumbuka in the main enclosure - 18 April 2013

Kumbuka was in the main enclosure for a time this afternoon. He looked quite relaxed and the keepers fed him a short while later. He was obviously still on his own; do people know when he might be mixed in with the rest of the gorillas?

      No but I think it will not be too long though.

      Yes, he does, but remember that he has an unusually expressive face - this may well have been a fleeting expression. It is bound to take him a few days to get that proper silverback swagger to impress the ladies.

      It's strange seeing him sitting like that, as though on a chair. Not like the squatting on the ground that he did outside at Paignton.
