      And I had the privilege of photographing her and the four cubs in September 2001. I will never forget the date because my flight home was on September 11, 2001 (World Trade Center attack) and I was among those in the air who were forced to land when the entire US fleet was grounded.

      That was my first day of preschool. I still remember the parents looking all freaked out but I couldn't figure out why.
