Nahampoana - Collared brown lemur

A male collared brown lemur in a tree in the Nahampoana Reserve. The reserve has three small families of these endemic lemurs and visitors can get quite close to them. The Nahampoana Reserve is located just north of Fort Dauphin on the southeast coast of Madagascar. This reserve offers tourists and travelers a rare chance to see and get close-up with six different species of lemurs and other wildlife. January 2010
