      Is this an example of a "corn-crib" cage, i have seen this phrase being used a lot on reviews of American zoos.

      Yes I believe this is an example of that term.

      Yes, this is a formerly ubiquitous (less so today, thankfully) inexpensive, mass-produced type of enclosure still found in too many places.

      I note that this one contains what in Europe (or at least Great Britain) is a frequently-used term unfamiliar to North American zoophiles: a "climbing frame."

      The combination is functional but inarguably banal and unattractive.
