Papiliorama - Jungle Trek (Toucan exhibit)
The separate exhibit for keel-billed toucans (Ramphastos sulfuratus) inside Jungle Trek in the Papiliorama. Jungle Trek is a dome-shaped tropical house 40 meters in diameter and 18 meters tall. It was opened in 2008 and was a major expansion of the Papiliorama. Jungle Trek is meant to be a little piece of Shipstern, the nature reserve in Belize that the Papiliorama Foundation manages in situ, and shows wildlife from that region. Papiliorama, July 2010.
