Red and Blue Macaw

November 7th, 2008. The Emperor Valley Zoo in Trinidad and Tobago had a mini-animal meet and greet set up at the University of the West Indies. There was a 2-year old mandrill, a prehensile-tailed porcupine, and then a number of snakes, iguanas turtles, caimans and macaws.

Did the bird come out of the cage? just trying to think of reasons for no perching, or maybe no perch because its emporer valley

The bird was let out of the cage a couple of times, but the zoo is so crappy that it wouldn't surprise me is the keepers never bothered with silly things like perches.
