      i don't usually look at the photos in the galleries but when this popped up at the top of the screen i had to open it. WOW. great photo of an awesome bird, Hix. I've got to go to ingleside. I've seen them before but I've got to see them again. Well done Hix.

      Thanks boof!

      That photo is cropped pretty heavily as the little buggers were not as friendly as I had hoped and kept their distance. Still, they were one of the slower moving honeyeaters I saw that day, but could move quickly when the wattlebirds started chasing them!

      It's always a good feeling to get photos of an endangered species.
