      @akasha I’ve never seen one on a meerkat before! Clearly to prevent it picking at a site on it’s body requiring treatment.

      Hamilton Zoo have two male meerkats - Faiion (2014) and Pemba (2016).

      @akasha Update: the meerkat is Pemba and the cone was for treatment of a reoccurring ear infection.
