      Not a good photo but I though it interesting to show one of the so-called "Nubian wild ass" although I know they weren't pure bred.

      There were some Somali wild ass in the enclosure behind the "Nubian" wild ass but, after thirty-five years, I cannot remember exactly what animals can be seen in the background of this picture.
