It was a very cold day, there was snow on the ground. But the tigers were gorgeous, and I took lots of photos.

      Wow great pic Bwassa! I always find that big cats are more beautiful in cold weather :). The last time i was at South Lakes (Aug 2008) they had separated their sumatran tigers Padang & Aleesha bcos they wanted them to become more ''interested'' in one another; as both cats were paired from a young age, the keepers at South Lakes had a theory that the cats saw one another as siblings rather than mates attributing to the fact that the havent had any cubs yet. Anyway instead of waffling on i was just going to ask you bwassa if the two sumatran tigers were in the exhibit together whilst you were there..??
