      I assume you mean Porphyrio porphyrio as I was referring to in my previous post.
      It doesn't look like Porphyrio martinicus (which is what I would call Purple Gallinule) to me with that beak.

      Actually I meaned that you didn't mentioned a species at all in you first post ( ;) ) and yes I mean Porphyrio porphyrio which I know under the name Purple gallinule. How do you call this species ?

      Well I just assumed (possibly wrongly) that the person uploading the pictures knew the species since they didn't ask for an ID.

      I know Porphyrio porphyrio as Purple Swamphen.
