What is this photo showing? It is difficult to tell when there is (rather bizarrely) not a label on it.
On the other side of this board walk (behind where the photographer would be standing) is the penguin enclosure. This is a spare peice of land, which when I visited was occupied by to waterfowl (unsure to whether these were free roaming) and there was no signage. Im pritty sure this is just spare land but Blackbrook fans can prove me wrong if they want too.
From what I have been told in the past at Blackbrook I believe this area was earmarked as the site for the Torrent Duck enclosure.
I think it may be potentially for a new species of penguin. I'll go back and label all my photos when I get a chance.
I would quite like to see another Penguin species on this land, we shall see as time rolls out though.
