      They are actually both older females, even though the right one has a very small mane. What I learned there, and I've never seen this anywhere else, is that old females after menopause can start growing hair and appear to have a small mane. I am a cat fanatic, and I have never heard or read this anywhere else. By the way, they also have two normal colored lions (one male, one female).
