      Looks like the regular Armenian mouflon Ovis gmelini gmelini with the reddish-brown coat and the pronounced white patch on the back and flank.

      The much less dark coated Laristan sheep O. gmelini laristanica occur more to the east between Esfahan, Marvdasht and Arak. Certainly no Esfahan sheep O. g. isphahonica which has an even lighter coat colour.

      Certainly a handsome animal. And not trusted by his keepers either, judging by the sawn off horns...
