Wintertime in Copenhagen - Brown bear

The male brown bear in Copenhagen during wintertime. This male bear is quite valuable for the breeding programme, since he is born in the wild. His mother was shot in the Swedish woods, and he was then brought to Denmark to live in Copenhagen Zoo. He has already fathered many cubs.

      Yeah, that confused me too. But it seems that the brown bears in Copenhagen are only interested in hibernating from december to the middle of febuary. This picture was taken in late febuary.
