Did you resist the temptation to climb the dinosaur?

I was powerless to resist...had to climb...paid $3 per person for a steep hike up stairs into the beast. Was it worth it? Heck no! However, the 106 stairs go up the leg and through the belly of the monstrosity and my kids had a blast. There are imitation fossils, fake skeletons and the walls are all painted in colourful murals. The entire experience lasts 10 minutes but when else would I ever go inside an 82-foot high dinosaur?

On a side note, the tiny town of Drumheller (population of 10,000) has well and truly embraced the renowned Royal Tyrrell Museum and its 400,000 annual visitors. The town has tons of dinosaur statues all over the place and many of the shops have dino-themed signs and promotions. Also, there must be at least 4 shops that sell fossils and souvenirs found in the local hills.
