Young double-wattled cassowaries (Casuarius casuarius)
The previous pair of cassowaries died and were recently replaced by these two young individuals. During my most recent visit I noticed that they were together and had access to both enclosures. I don't know why, but perhaps to get to know eachother and thus maybe make future breeding easier?
