Here is the second round of voting for a get-together this fall... Once again here are rules for the poll: 1. Please only vote if you think that you would have the possibility of traveling (physically and financially) to a decided zoo this fall...no "I wishes or if I could". 2. Please vote for all locations that would be possible for you to travel to and that you would like to visit. 3. After two weeks of voting, the majority voted zoo location will determine the destination. 4. Feel free to reccommend dates for the round-up and another poll will be made in two weeks to determine the best time. Cheers.
Worked fine for me, maybe something in your computer settings that won't let you see it? (Or maybe you were the first to view the link and the poll hadn't loaded yet).
I voted for all of the Florida ones. I could MAYBE go to Cincinnati, but that's a long shot so I didn't vote for it.
I really hope Columbus doesn't win...everytime, that zoo just blows my mind with how people are a fan of it. And well, I hope Jacksonville doesn't either--too far
@tigertiger - No matter which city wins, there will be someone who is unhappy with it. But I hope we are all mature enough to enjoy the trip just for the sake of meeting like-minded individuals. All of the cities on the finalist list are worthwhile in my opinion. @FSBlue - We'll see what happens, but my opinion for resolving a tie would be to go with whichever city the most number of people could make it to.
Very true on both counts. I know I really can't go to any zoo outside of 2 or 3 on the list personally though. So I'd rather it be one of those so I can go lol.
Only 2 voting days left. If Columbus beats out Florida, the Florida ZooChatters may need to ask the administrator to do a manual recount to check for hanging chads!
Well, the poll is closed and Columbus appears to be the winner. I wouldn't mind if an administrator did a manual recount just to check. Out of curiosity who would be able to make it to Columbus?
Since Okapikpr has taken the lead on this, I was waiting for him to post a third poll with prospective dates. I sent him a PM yesterday, but haven't heard yet. I think I can make it.
