No one posted "colchester-dude", they posted "colchester dude" before you posted the former. Which could just be coincidence.

Lol, lets move on, all the same.

Does anybody know what species I can expect to see in Animal Adventure on Sunday, then?

Based on podcasts, the website, an article I got by e-mail and the construction site sign:

    - Macaws (New Parrot Show too)
    - Rabbits
    - Ferrets
    - Porcupines
    - Invertabrates
    - Parma Wallabies
    - Anteaters (the sign shows a Giant Anteater, though it's been said they'll actually be getting Tamanduas)
    - Lemurs or Red Pandas (Based on concept art in the podcast, didn't see it properly to identify)
    - Siberian Weasels (Speculation; Longleat already has them off-show, but they might be going in Pets Corner)

Not to mention the new butterfly house already open.

So... whats to become of Pets Corner? Will there be new parrots, and will the ferrets be moved across or split?

I know that the wallabies and porcupines from Pets Corner are moving there, and because the parrot show in AA is a replacement one I suspect all the parrots will too, and I guess a few others will too. This leaves more room for development in Pets Corner.

It covers the sites of the old Butterfly Garden, Postman Pat Village and Mystical Garden with a bit of empty space from the north, but from what I've seen on GoogleEarth it should only be a tiny bit bigger than Pets Corner.

I have no idea. I was the one who was told by a keeper early October last year, and I got the impression it had been a recent, sad farewell. So it could have been either.

Also, to top up some of the information in response to earlier questions, as has been stated elsewhere, the Monkey Jungle will reopen as a drive past exhibit, and the park has, according to ISIS, obtained a male Giant Anteater.

If they can fit him in. :D Might go in somewhere like the old pig pen before being moved to Mini Safari when it opens IMO.

in 2007 colchester zoo's female giant anteater 'furai' gave birth to a baby called silva:) and he willbe going to another zoo soon so, if LSP are getting giant anteaters then silva could be one of them.:):)
