The new red river hog/sitatunga mixed exhibit opened on Saturday 6th April. The male red river hog was born at Chester Zoo and arrived at Africa Alive in February, while the females (two sisters) came from Liseux Zoo in France in early March.

More information is included in the link below:

According to the new park map, on the site of the old addax paddock near the entrance.

The addax have in turn moved to the old bongo paddock.

It's up near the lions and cheetah. It's the old addax enclosure.

1:0 giraffe called Jengo has arrived from Amsterdam.
0:2 giraffe Mahiri & Zuri have left and moved to Banham zoo. I thought Africa Alive only had Reticulated no more hybrids.

All hybrids as far as I'm aware. I'm guessing Mhari and Zuri are hybrids as well??

They look like Reticulateds, I thought AA only had pure Reticulated nowadays.
