    Hello.

I've been looking at camera accessories for my olympus sp-810uz, and all results have come up saying Olympus camedia sp-810uz.

Now, are they both the same camera? and If not would you guess that a tripod and lens hood flower would work on my camera?

    thanks in advance;)

Camedia was name for not DSLR Olympus cameras if I am not mistaken. It's funny but I could not find this model on Olympus - United Kingdom & Ireland, I found only SP-620UZ, SP-720UZ and SP-820UZ models, and these models are in "STYLUS" part. Looks like it is a new name for Olympus compact cameras (maybe for certain region?).

I think it is almost impossible that two different cameras have same index (sp-810uz), so don't worry about it. Light tripods are all 1/4" screw thread standard, so it is not a problem too.
