Is there any zoo that exhibits all three zebra species together? I know it would have to be a "bachelorette" heard but it seems like a neat idea. Or are Grevy's zebras too aggressive? Does anyone know if this has worked in the past? Do any zoos exhibit all three separately?
Keeping all three zebra species is working only with one-sex groups-so only females or only males. Dvur Kralove had a stallion group of all zebra species together back in the 90ties, but not anymore.
Dvur Kralove has a fine collection of zebras-Grevy-, Common-, Mountain-, maneless and the rare "extreme long-hooves zebras". No wonder, if kept year round on too soft-ground...
Thanks for all of the comments. It would be neat to see this combo, whether they were zebras only or with other species,
