With the government shutting down many types of non-essential business on Wednesday 25th March, most Australian zoos are now closed. The only zoos I've not been able to find a closure notice - or indeed have explicitly stated that they are still open - are as follows: SA Cleland Wildlife Park (large, open air park with all indoor facilities closed) ACT Canberra Reptile Zoo (my understanding is they are essentially a shop?) NT Alice Springs Desert Park (large, self-guided open air park, most indoor facilities closed) I will assume that all other zoos are closed. If anyone has any information on any zoos or facilities which are still open - please let me know and I'll add them to the list. I look forward to when we can start a thread about when zoos are reopening.
