    Little update on a few things from the last few weeks

    A herd of Sitatungas arrived (March 13th) from Africa Alive and are down where the Sika Deer used to live.

    A baby Red Bellied Lemur was born on April 1st

    Brazilian Guinea Pigs have arrived recently from Exmoor Zoo and now have the home of the Dwarf Mongooses

    And the 2 Zebras have move in with the Giraffes and are sharing the big paddock, the herd of Llamas have currently taken over the old Zebra paddock

    Male Amur Tiger Kuzma has transferred to Knowsley Safari Park on loan for around a year. I believe this leaves their female by herself for now.

    He's around 10 years old. The female at Banham is called Sveta.

    Male Amur Tiger Kuzma was born at Banham on 17 October 2008 and female Sveta, who will be 11 years old on 21 June, was born in Lisbon.

    Thanks, seems they are nearing the end of their reproductive life as a pair. OC, this onwards only applies in finitum for the female.

    It's only recently they've gained access to all 3 of the trees by their enclosure. It took them a while to get used to going out but now they seem to love it.

    There are a few strays in the paddock but the majority are in a purpose built enclosure opposite the sitatunga.
