Coatis haven't arrived yet, and there is one female ocelot. Chuckwallas may already be on exhibit.

Will the coati go in the former hyrax exhibit and the ocelot go in the former caracal exhibit or vice versa? Another thing, IIRC, when Pallas' cats were first exhibited on one side (the hyrax area) and the bobcats on the other side (caracals) both exhibits were open-fronted. What kind of barriers will they use? (Please be photographer-friendly mesh)

They will definitely go in those exhibits. Which ones though, I am not sure. I'm sure one of the zoochatters will find out before me - it will be a while until I return to BZ.

They used black fencing for the caracal exhibit. I'm sure that will change. The rock hyrax exhibit was undergoing maintenance when I was last there a few weeks ago, so I am unsure if what kind of barrier, if any, they will be using.

Zenda, the zoo's 13-year-old male lion, was euthanized on January 2nd.
