I recently set up my camera trap on a waterhole in the national park that I work in. We had a number of visitors come down but I was very happy to finally get a leopard in the daytime. Visitors to waterhole I was also told about a giraffe that had been found dead in the road so I set my camera trap up on that last week. It was great to capture this lioness and even better to see that it looks like she has cubs at the moment. Lioness on giraffe carcass

We had the camera trap again on the waterhole and it had a visit from some spotted hyenas that showed a lot of interest in it. Unfortunately this will be the last video for a while as my camera got trampled by an elephant and this time it wasn't saved by the metal box but I hope to get another camera in the future.
