Does anyone have an entire list of cetacean species held in the U.S. (including rescued individuals)?
Off the top of my head: Common Bottlenose Dolphin (including at least two Common/Bottlenose Hybrids and one False Killer Whale Bottlenose Hybrid) Pacific White Sided Dolphin Commersons Dolphin Rough Toothed Dolphin Atlantic Spotted Dolphin Killer Whale (though we may soon have to split this into several species) Short Finned Pilot Whale Beluga Whale You might want to check NOAA's website, they have an inventory of every marine mammal held Zoological Institutions in the U.S.
I believe there are captive cetacean databases listed on Chlidonias's sticky at the top of General Discussion forums also.
Indeed, there are several databases out there, however I can sum it up for you here, too.
