I saw a chambered nautilus at the National Zoo about eight years ago, and I would hope to see them again. I am visiting the National Zoo soon, and I was wondering if they are still exhibited there. I checked Global Species, and I saw three or four parks worldwide held them, but Global Species is a few years outdated, so does anyone have any updated collections?
National Zoo does not have them anymore, but many aquariums have them, Adventure Aquarium, Jenkinson's Aquarium, and Boston Aquarium just to name a few
They are now reasonably common in captivity, with a large number of collections holding them. The species has been enthusiastically adopted by the Sea Life chain and so are spreading within that group too.
