I just tried to enter the chatroom twice and I am blocked. Anyone know what the fault is?

    Here is the message.

I'm assuming you were trying somewhere other than at home?

It sounds as though the network admin for wherever you are (work/school/uni/cafe/etc) has decided that they don't want people chatting online and thus blocked mibbit.

You could try using an IRC client directly - connect to irc.mibbit.net:6667 and join #zoochat ... but if they block the Mibbit widget, they might block all direct IRC traffic too.

There are also other online IRC clients which might let you bypass these restrictions - but I've not tried them, so can't make any recommendations.

As far as I know, Rob is at home as usual - certainly he had access to the chatroom earlier tonight.

I am at home, using the PC I always use. My internet provider has planned maintenance tonight and I wonder if that is part of the problem. If I still can't access chat tomorrow I'll ring them and ask why the block is in place.

I have access to the chatroom again, no idea what the problem was.
