    Couple of questions:
    • Did the tree kangaroos leave the collection?
    • Are the gharial still on show?
    • Is all of 'Islands' still open apart from the Monsoon Forest?
    • Where are the lowland streaked tenrecs held?
    • & are there any treeshrews, Prevost's squirrels or tragopans on display?
    Thanks.

Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo still on show in Islands
Islands open except for Monsoon Forest and Boat trips
Prevost's Squirrels on show as you go into islands from the paddock area
Which Tragopan species are you asking about.

Temminck's. Strange that the tree kangaroo doesn't show up on the website - glad it's still on display though.

The Gharial are still in Monsoon Forest. Hence will be offshow until it reopens

Lowland Streaked Tenrec are no longer in the collection.

Thanks. That's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing the tenrecs. Are there any other species of tenrecs currently onshow?

The Lowland Streaked were never onshow to begin with, so you wouldn't have seen them anyway.

Both Lesser Hedgehog and Greater Hedgehog Tenrec are on-display in Fruit Bat Forest.

Fossa have been in the collection for a while. If you stand in the right place, you can see them in their exhibit too. I'd post a photograph, but it's not great (Blast and their black anti-reflection sheet were in the way, again).

Do you mean in the enclosure we’re they will be housed when the Madagascar area opens or a holding enclosure.

They're in their new exhibit. They have been for some time, but recently have been given access to the outside area.

Is there a lot of building work going on currently? If there is much disturbance I will wait a bit before visiting.

Only major building work is Asian lions which is outside the zoo perimiter, Monsoon Forest is closed but the rest of Islands is open. Lemur walkthrough opens at Easter as far as I know.

Did I miss much on Secret Life of the Zoo last night? I know about the elephant story but would like to know about the jaguar story. Is there much prospect of cubs in the future? To be honest I can't keep up with the situation with the species and whether they want babies or not!
