Also, why are all you English people on here on Christmas Day? Are all your family throwing bits of ham at you yelling "get off the computer!!"
Yeah, well it's Christmas night and my brains a bit slow due to loads of food, a fair smattering of beer, and absolutely mind-numbing TV and films... So yeah, I'm running on empty right now! Probably not the best time to do a quiz to be honest!
The Christmas and New Year can be depressing for many ppl, net forums can bring seasonal levity without rubbing things like gifts or family in ppls faces. Perhaps they are all secretly depressed.
Actually the Northumberland way of counting would be as follows: Yan Tan Tether Mether Pimp Sether Hether Hother Dother Dick Yan Dick Tan Dick Tether Dick Mether Dick Bumfit Yan Bumfit Tan Bumfit Tether Bumfit Mether Bumfit Giggit
Of course I do! Well, when it isn't Christmas. Or New Year. Or my birthday. Or St George's Day. Or July the 4th. Or on a Tuesday... Hang on a minute, do I have a problem?
1. Muscovy Duck (Domestic Type) 2. Caracal 3. Somali Wild Ass 4. Carrion Crow 5. Kakapo 6. Eastern Gray Kangaroo 7. Magpie Goose 8. Lesser Kestrel 9. Black Rhinoceros 10. Harp Seal (Pup) 11. Western Lowland Gorilla 12. Gray Wolf
I think number 6 has to be a Brazilian Tapir, even though the colour looks wrong - the slope of the profile just looks really like that of a tapir! - so I'll go for TeamTapir as the member, although they haven't posted for a couple of years. The only others I can think of are tapirus, who only has a few photos and a couple of posts, and EchoBeast who has an avatar of a tapir.
1) Maguari Stork (Maguari) 2) Snow Leopard (snowleopard) 3) Kiang (Kiang) 4) Carrion Crow (DDCorvus) 5) Kakapo (Kakapo) 6) Aardvark (aardvark250) 7) Magpie Goose (MagpieGoose) 8) Mauritius Kestrel (CarlJones) 9) Black Rhino (Kifaru Bwana) 10) Grey Seal (SealPup) 11) Western Lowland Gorilla (Pertinax) 12) Wolverine (gulogulogulo)
Good progress all round. Most of the puzzle is solved, but there are no perfect answers yet. No offence to DDcorvus, but he (or she, we are not told) is not very specific, for instance I might well have chosen a jackdaw to symbolise that username. If I had chosen DDcorvus, I think there would be an alternative odd one out There is a specific reason why I chose the image for number 4. Number 6 is an aadvark, so of course aardvark250 is a correct answer, but I actually had another well-known member in mind.
